JIM HUNTER

Jim Hunter's sculptures, artwork and mobiles have appeared in numerous galleries and exhibits throughout the country. After he studied art and design, he was named the art director of a Santa Barbara studio. Following his career on the west coast, Jim came to New York. He subsequently joined Sony Music to work with its graphics department.

The Idea is activity. The metaphor is balance. Grappling with infinity and the possibilities of a tangible object that is a thought provoking assemblage of shapes bound together, balancing with an ability to dance alone with help the invisible currents that surrounds us, transcending materials and the maker to stand on it own to stimulate viewers imagination.
