JOE FOUTS & LOUISE GILKES

Joe and Louise design one-of-a-kind pieces of original wearable art. They worked together in New York as Fouts-Gilkes and created a couture line that was sold at many high-end retailers. They and their work were featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue, Bazzar, Mademoiselle and other high-fashion magazines.

Joe is a graduate of Pratt Institute and Louise, who was a dancer with Pearl Primus Dance Co. in New York City, studied at the Art Students League in New York and the Brooklyn Museum Art School.

They currently reside and work in Port Jervis, NY.
